The playground buddy scheme has been extremely successful for many years in Killowen.
The P7 children wear yellow hats and are on duty each lunchtime in order to ensure that playtime is safe and fun for everyone.
The buddies befriend lonely children, help those who are hurt, mediate in minor disputes, teach new games and supervise the play equipment.
