Using ICT
In Killowen we teach our pupils ICT skills, but more importantly our pupils use ICT across the curriculum to further their learning.
We have a fantastic ICT suite which houses thirty computers, forming a school wide network incorporating computers and iPads in each classroom. We have a permanent green screen in our school which pupils can use to create exciting videos, and a range of programmable devices such as Blue Bots and Sphero.
We have also been introducing Google Classrooms to our Key Stage 2 classes to give pupils an opportunity to collaborate and share their work.
